What are your standard delivery times?
Non Customized albums, stock albums, are sent out the next business day if possible. Then it just depends on the post office. We are on the East Coast, so it usually takes 3 or 4 days to go across the US.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of customized albums. Usually we can ship sooner than this, but depending on our schedule, and any custom embroidery you may need, the wait time may be longer. Please call us if you have any questions about our current work load. Also, always expect longer delays at Christmas or Graduation times, as these our busiest seasons.
How much is Customizing?
Customizing an album includes covering it in your choice of fabrics. Any personalized embroidery is a small extra fee. You will be able to add the cost of customizing to the album when you put it in your cart. Larger albums usually end up at $85-$95. Smaller ones usually are $60- $75. Very small ones, such as a guest book are even less. Since all the albums are different prices we adjust our customizing fees per album. When they are on sale is the best time to get one customized.
Our normal fees for embroidery is $35 for up to 2 lines of regular embroidery. This includes placing the embroidery inside a simple applique patch if needed. Larger items, such as digitized maps or other designs may be more and we need to consult on these items. Please open an email and let us know your needs so we can discuss it.
Can I request special fabrics?
Yes! In fact, you can send a special fabric you have and we will use it. Or we will search stores and internet for a source for your requested items. If we can find it, we can usually offer it.
How do returns and refunds work?
For non-customized items we can refund your purchase price, minus a 20% restocking fee and the shipping fee, as long as it is returned to us in the original condition within a reasonable amount of time and as long as we still carry that item for sale. Discontinued items are not refunded. Please send us an email first. Obviously if your album was damaged in shipping, we will replace it since we insure our packages. Please allow sufficient time for this.
We do not accept for refund any customized albums, or with personalized embroidery, unless they are defective, or damaged in shipping, and we will replace them with a new album as quickly as possible. Please email us if there is any issue and we will try to resolve it as quickly as possible.
No refunds on albums that have embroidery work unless it was our error. This is due to the fact that we send a “proof” photo of any embroidery work we are planning so you can check spelling, fonts, layout before we stitch. We must have a working email address for you, so that we can send computer sketches as a embroidery “proof” photo.
Do you ship outside of the USA?
We will ship to Canada and the outlying US provinces through the shopping cart. We only ship to other countries after discussing the project and getting and accurate shipping cost from our Post Office. Sometimes it is too expensive to ship unless you want to pay the extra costs such as customs duties. Email us what you are looking at and we will discuss it.
Do you offer discounts for more than one album?
Yes! Besides saving on the shipping, you will get a discount code from us when you contact us before your purchase of more than 5 sets of refill pages, or for 3 or more albums. Please allow time for us to get your email and reply. IF you don’t have time to wait on us to reply, you may also send us an email saying you need a partial refund on your order, and this will be sent back to whichever account you purchased within 24 hours. Often we will give a discount on embroidery for more than one album if all the albums have the same text since we don’t have to set up the design.
Do you offer other personalized items besides albums?
Yes, we have been offering personalized embroidery locally for years. We have embroidered names or dates on organza ribbons for the ring bearers pillow, we have embroidered labels for local quilters to add to their quilts. We have added embroidery on our hand made masks during this pandemic! If you need something embroidered, ask… we love trying new things.
