Are you considering adding text to your album, but you can't decide if you really want to spend the extra for the accent patch that goes underneath the text on the cover?  See if these photos of some of our most popular fabrics show the text well enough without the patch, or if your money would be well spent purchasing the text on the accent patch! 

Here is what embroidery without a patch looks like on a heavily printed fabric:

The embroidery tends to be hidden a little.  You can still see it, but it doesn't jump out at you. Some people like that subtle, understated look.  Here is what you get when you pay a little bit extra for an accent patch behind the embroidery:

These samples would have probably looked fine without the accent patch behind the text, but how much better they stand out with it added.

We have several stock shapes we can make your patch in.  The three shapes in the photo below, as well as a simple oval, and of course, the map of Africa.  Other countries can be digitized, but there is a small fee if we have never digitized it before.  Patches are $10 extra, the map of Africa is $20 extra.

We can do embroidery text, or a map of Africa outline, on a simple pattern and it shows up just fine, as the following photos show.  You just have to decide if your fabric will show up your embroidery enough, or if you need to add the accent patch.
